How can I participate in the Review?

Participation in the Review by way of written or verbal submissions is now open.

The closing date to provide a written or verbal submission or participate in an interview has been extended to Friday 20 May 2022.

You do not need to have participated in the Survey to make a written or verbal submission or participate in an interview.

The Review Team may conduct focus group sessions at a later stage. Further information will be made available if and when focus group sessions go ahead.

The Survey into Workplace Culture in the Tasmanian Ministerial and Parliamentary workplaces is now closed.

How do I make a written submission?

A written submission can be an email, letter, and may include photos, videos, copies of documents etc.

Alternatively, you can use the written submission information form to help you write your submission.

It would be helpful if written submissions address the Terms of Reference for the Review.

You can make a written submission anonymously.

How do I make a verbal submission?

You do not need to have participated in the Survey to make a verbal submission or participate in an interview.

Verbal submissions can be made by Zoom, phone, or in person. Verbal submissions will be recorded and transcribed.

Unlike an interview, the Commissioner will not ask you prepared questions. However, you may be asked questions about your experiences. Verbal submissions will be undertaken in an informal and safe environment.

It would be helpful if verbal submissions address the Terms of Reference for the Review.

If it can be facilitated, you can make a verbal submission anonymously.

How do I participate in an interview?

An interview is a structured way of providing a verbal submission. The Commissioner will ask you questions within the scope of the Terms of Reference for the Review.

If you would like to participate in a confidential interview, contact us on (03) 6165 7515 or MPSReview@equalopportunity.tas.gov.au to arrange a time for interview. If you prefer, you can participate in an interview outside of business hours.

An interview will take approximately 40 – 60 minutes.
