Expungement of Historical Homosexual and Cross-Dressing Offences
The expungement of historical offences scheme has recently commenced in Tasmania. The scheme enables charges and convictions for homosexual and cross-dressing offences that would not be a criminal offence today to be effectively removed from a person's official criminal record.
