Description
This exemption was granted to permit the Anglicare Tasmania Inc to recruit and employ Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in spefically-designated Community Service Worker positions (approx. six (6) positions state-wide) on the basis that:
- The occupants of these positions provide support service to clients across the state who identify themselves as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and request a case manager who is Aboriginal;
- Anglicare continues to improve the delivery of services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders by allocating Aboriginal-designated Community Service Workers by request to its clients; and
- There is a growing need from Anglicare Support Services data for Aboriginal-designated staff.
